"[I] have taught you publicly and
from house to house". Acts 20:20
Mission
To foster small, intimate, spiritual communities within the larger
body of Shoreland Community Church to enhance personal growth
and relationships.
Purpose
The extended family. The familiar neighborhood. The lifelong job.
These days, many of our traditional support systems have broken
down. And the loss of stabilizing relationships has taken its
toll on our lives. People long for a sense of roots, belonging,
and identity.
If you are looking for more than a weekly worship celebration;
if you are interested in Bible study, fellowship, and the support
of a caring group; or if you are looking for a friendly environment
where you can investigate the Christian faith, then check out
the Small Group Ministry of Shoreland Community Church.
Benefits
Building meaningful relationships.
Accelerating your person Christian growth.
Becoming an integral part of the growing Shoreland community.
Discovering a deeper, more meaningful relationship with
God.
Developing leadership abilities.
Experiencing accountability in relationships.
Structure.
Groups are generally comprised of eight to 10 people.
Potential members will be invited by Small Group leaders
to visit their group to see if there are natural affinities and
common interests so that you feel it is a right fit.
The group determines the topics of study. The meeting time
will balance quality interaction among members along with Bible
study.
To find out more, contact the church office, and a Small Group
coordinator will contact you.
