"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ". – Ephesians 4:15

Mission and Purpose
In the church, drama is not merely used for entertainment. Rather, the art of staging dramatic presentations is a vehicle that helps us deal with our human shortcomings: to laugh at our mistakes and cry at our pain. Drama presents our human struggle in ways we can relate to, in order to help make clear the need we have for a supernatural Problem Solver.

Requirements
The requirements for participating in Shoreland's Drama Ministry are few, but important. A person must:
1. Have a heart willing to serve God.
2. Have a desire to minister on stage through creative expression.
3. Be available to attend two rehearsals during the week prior to the Sunday performance.

Goals
The goal of the Drama Ministry is to establish a team of gifted and passionate servants of God possessing enough talent, energy, and enthusiasm to produce two high-quality sketches per month (on average) for presentation to Shoreland's Sunday morning congregation. This team would include not just performers, but also those with the passion and ability for directing, coordinating, and conducting behind-the-scenes stage work.
